Katherine Jen
Founder and Managing Partner, AsiaTech Management; Board Member CSPA

A seasoned investment executive with over 20 years of experience, Katherine founded AsiaTech in 1997. She has substantial experience in general business finance, deal structuring, and venture capital funding. Katherine was a pioneer in the Taiwan venture business. She played a key role in setting up the first six venture funds in Taiwan and also helped start the successful semiconductor industry there. Katherine was the Director and Deputy Executive Secretary of the Development Fund of the Taiwanese government for 7 years.

Since the inception of the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), the world's leading semiconductor foundry, Katherine had been heavily involved with the company's strategic decisions and became very instrumental in its infant stage. She then served as a member of Board of Director of TSMC in the late 1980s. Katherine also worked closely with major banks in Taiwan and served as a board member of the International Commercial Bank of China (ICBC). With her extensive business experience and strong working relationships with prominent business leaders, Katherine is well positioned to help start-up companies achieve their growth objectives.

Currently Katherine sits on the board of NetScreen Technologies, Inc. and a number of private companies. Katherine received her LLB from National Taiwan University.
